Everyone enjoyed the food from Red Bowl in Ormond. This meal was sponsored by Henry and Merrill I .  A MILLION THANK YOU’S FROM EVERYONE !
The sides were brought in by our membership and everything was delicious . Thanks to everyone who brought in sides!!
Special thank you to everyone who helped move the tables around. We need this help at each meeting so we all can eat on time. It was great to have a working microphone.
We had two great speakers, Keith M. ,Bob K. , and Linda Lou.  Linda spoke about the upcoming election and Keith and Bob both spoke about the new the Brightline Train line, from Orlando to Miami. 125 miles per hour. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully one day there will be a station in Daytona.
Our club received a large donation of boxes containing stamps, albums, supplies, ect. for the good of the club. As a result, we had a great auction that was enjoyed by all.
The best item was a four volume Citation stamp collection. The suggested start was $50.00. However, it started at 10.00 and was raised by $1.00 increments and hammered down at $51.00. I jokingly mentioned that we could have saved a lot of auction time if we had the opening bid at $50.00.  We all got a good laugh.
Bob K. Gave our monthly financial report.
There were approximately 10 items for the regular auction and Dave R. had a large reverse auction that received a lot of interest and bidding.

Our movie star Keith M. flew in from Minnesota where he resides to have Chinese food with all of us. What a delight it was for all of us to see him.

The 50/50 was split up into two winning numbers due to the large participation at this meeting. For the first time since the clubs beginning one member, John Z. won both pulls.

The 2 $10 gift cards were won by Billy Bob and Brian R.

The auction was one of the largest our club had in many years. A lively auction was enjoyed for the 29 silver coins that had been donated to the club. Several members also had coins to in the auction that were auctioned off along with dozens of stamp items. This auction was a little longer than usual but everyone stayed and enjoyed the action. There were many bargains that changed hands. The items brought much joy to the winners!

A Million Thanks To Bob K., Maureen , Francine, David, Paul , and Bob H. for helping with the auction ..

A Million Thanks to Tom H. Keith M. and Vince G. for putting back all of the tables.

It was very good seeing everyone and we miss the rest of you all, but we understand.
