President David Rosenthal called meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and welcomed all.
First time visitors were asked to stand and introduce themselves and tell what they collect.
Club treasurer John DeFoe gave the treasury report.
Minutes from last meeting was available for members to review.
Dave reported the annual stamp & coin show was a success. 227 people attended.
Dave thanked all the club members that worked the show. Dave thanked the following for the stamps & coins donated to the bear box. Dean Robinson, Lou Kiss, Robert Cane, Jerry Mills, Clifford Wright, C.L. Wyatt and both Deboers.
Dave announced with the help of Michael Nishti and Michael Belanich, he will have the club web site up and running soon. Dave is working on getting a table at the next home show.
Dave introduced Walter Uzcategu, from Federal Trust Bank. Walters lets the club use the copy machine for free.
Sara Purdy from the Palm Coast Observer came to take pictures and interview some of the members for an article which will be out next week.
Bob Charters gave a short program on colonial and early America coins. Bob has been collecting these coins for years. He had a very nice collection on display.
Robert Cane gave a short talk on investing in silver. He talked about the Franklin half and peace dollars.
50/50 winner was #07, John Roberts
Door prize winners were #142 Philip Schwartz and #49 John Zak
A break was taken for cookies and to review auctions items.
